Exam Invigilators

Description:

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking Exam Invigilators to oversee the correct running of internal and external examinations in various exam rooms. This casual role is ideal for individuals who are responsible, calm, and organized, with effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the correct and smooth administration of exams.
• Supervise candidates in both large and small groups.
• Assist in providing support to students during examinations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Enjoys working as part of a team in a school environment.
• Interested in supporting candidates with effective communication skills.
• Experience in a school environment or with secondary-aged students is advantageous but not required.

Working Hours:

• Casual basis throughout the year, primarily in May and June.
• Exams are conducted in morning, mid-morning, and afternoon sessions.

Requirements:

• Suitable for responsible individuals with a professional demeanor.
• Applicants must provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.
• Subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
• KCSIE online checks will be conducted as part of due diligence.
