Experienced Pipefitter

Description:

Jefferis Engineering is seeking Experienced Pipefitters to join their dynamic and high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the building services industry, with expertise in various piping systems, including screwed pipework, soldering, press-fit, and mechanical installations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipework Installations: Install and maintain pipe systems made from materials such as steel, copper, stainless steel, and plastic.

• System Testing & Inspection: Perform pressure tests, leak detection, and system diagnostics to ensure installation integrity and compliance with industry standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with welders, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality installations.

• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve pipework modifications and challenges in live environments.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines and project-specific protocols.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Proven background in building services pipework installations, including mechanical plant room installations, pipework modifications, and troubleshooting.

• Technical Expertise: Full system knowledge, with experience in different types of pipe systems and materials.

• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various project locations across the South West, Midlands, Wales, and South East.

• Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with other trades and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Detail-Oriented: Ensure all installations meet the highest quality standards and project deadlines.

• Proactive: A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of their work.
