Export Manager

Description:

A leading premium alcoholic drinks manufacturer is seeking a highly experienced Export Manager to oversee international sales in Asia and the Middle East. This role will focus on driving sales growth, distributor expansion, and brand integrity across these competitive markets. The Export Manager will play a key role in developing long-term sales and distribution strategies, leading a regional sales team, and building strong On-Trade and Off-Trade partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Develop & implement long-term sales strategies for Asia and the Middle East in collaboration with the Group Sales Director.
✔ Set and achieve volume targets across distributors, products, and formats in international markets.
✔ Expand the distributor network and drive brand awareness while maintaining brand integrity and pricing.
✔ Lead and develop the Asia and Middle East Sales team across Off-Trade, On-Trade, and B2B channels.
✔ Collaborate with marketing teams and distributors to execute impactful brand campaigns.
✔ Manage sales budgets and ensure effective expenditure control.
✔ Analyze sales performance and provide commercial insights to enhance company strategy.
✔ Monitor competitor activities and recommend adjustments to the international sales approach.
✔ Develop new business opportunities while optimizing existing market resources.

Experience & Skills Required:

✔ Extensive experience in distributor sales management across Asia and the Middle East.
✔ Proven track record in sales execution, new business development, and international distribution strategies.
✔ Strong financial acumen, with experience in cost analysis and budget management.
✔ Excellent negotiation & communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
✔ A network of high-quality international trade connections in relevant regions.
✔ Fluent in English, with additional language skills (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and/or Arabic) preferred.
✔ Experience leading & developing remote teams across international markets.
✔ Ability to work strategically and adapt flexibly to capitalize on opportunities.
✔ Strong brand-building expertise in Asia and the Middle East.
