Finance Controller

Description:

Wonderpack.eco is looking for a Finance Controller to drive growth and excellence in the company. The Finance Controller will oversee financial planning, reporting, and cash flow management while providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. This is a leadership role that includes leading and developing a small finance team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting key growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts, bank, AR, AP, and monthly billing with support from the team.

• Execute and evolve financial insights to align with growth goals.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the Board.

• Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.

• Partner with operations, commercial, and tech teams to drive profitability.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, payroll, and audit requirements.

• Support the Commercial Director with growth-aligned initiatives and financing.

• Lead and grow the finance team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Controller or in a senior finance leadership role.

• Detail-oriented with excellent financial management skills.

• Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights, focusing on cost control and profitability.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
