Cedar is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, private equity-backed Technology sector disruptor in Central London. With continued rapid expansion, ambitious product rollouts, and multiple capital expenditure projects underway, the company is seeking a dynamic Senior Commercial Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting growth and reinforcing its market-leading position.

This entrepreneurial, high-energy environment offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact through business partnering, financial strategy, and performance improvement. The role reports directly to the Head of Commercial Finance and includes line management responsibility for two Finance Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted business partner to senior commercial stakeholders, including executive-level leaders.

• Develop and review business plans aligned to technology builds, major capital expenditure projects, financial returns, and cashflow forecasting (both short-term and long-term).

• Lead financial planning processes, delivering critical insights across budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

• Challenge costs, KPIs, and drive business optimisation initiatives.

• Provide clear, actionable financial insights to non-finance stakeholders, simplifying complex data.

• Drive process improvements and lead cross-functional projects across a diverse stakeholder landscape.

• Support M&A activities and broader strategic growth initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated success as a finance business partner with measurable impact on financial performance (top and/or bottom line).

• Strong commercial mindset and business acumen.

• Proven ability to communicate financial insights effectively to senior stakeholders in a clear, simple manner.

• Highly skilled in influencing, presenting, and delivering impactful financial strategies.

• Experience in capex-intensive environments is a strong advantage.

• Ambitious, driven, and energetic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
