Finance Manager

Description:

Cognisant has been instructed instructed to appoint a Finance Manager for a growing, well funded housebuilder. Your role will have a hands-on approach to financial management, analysis and reporting and ensure that day-to-day finances and budgets run smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee cost control processes and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and report on variances
• Work closely with senior management and other departments to support overall
• business objectives
• Report on build and sales progress providing weekly cashflow forecasts
