Financial Accountant

Description:

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a leading European brand who are looking for a talented Group Financial Accountant to join their team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, that could potentially be made permanent. This is an office based role in Blackburn.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day accounting for holding companies.
• Ownership of intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare and produce tax packs.
• Ownership of groups external borrowings in line with IFRS 9.

About you

• An ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant with experience in a similar role.
• Experience of working with international businesses.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
• A positive attitude, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
