Financial Accountant

Description:

You will take responsibility for the preparation and review of financial statements, management reporting, and analytical support across your client portfolio. Working closely with the partners and senior leadership team, you’ll ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while providing meaningful insight to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP / FRS 102
• Month-end and year-end reporting, including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Supporting and liaising with external auditors
• Preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
• Cashflow management and analysis
• Providing financial insights and advice to clients and partners
• Assisting with process improvements and contributing to best practice initiatives

The Person

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience gained within a professional practice environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP / FRS 102)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
