General Manager

Description:

Valvoline Global Operations, the pioneer in the automotive and industrial solutions industry since 1866 and an affiliate of Aramco, is seeking a Vice President & General Manager of Europe to lead its European operations from its London office. This is a senior executive role responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and operational excellence across all European countries.

The selected leader will own the P&L for Europe, ensuring consistent delivery on revenue, profitability, and strategic objectives. Core responsibilities include leading sales, marketing, pricing, eCommerce, direct sales, and distribution channels. This role requires strong executive-level account management skills, building and maintaining relationships with major OEMs, distributors, installers, retail partners, and corporate clients across Europe.

Key accountabilities include:

• Executing a harmonized business strategy aligned with regional and global objectives to achieve double-digit growth.

• Driving sales leadership across multi-channel models including direct sales, distributors, and eCommerce.

• Overseeing brand development and marketing to ensure a consistent, impactful presence across all European markets.

• Leading a high-performing matrixed team, working closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and Legal to deliver results.

• Managing financial performance, cost optimization, and resource allocation without compromising growth.

• Ensuring compliance with European regulatory environments while capitalizing on diverse cultural and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of leadership in multinational environments, preferably within EMEA markets.

• Proven track record of leading a large-scale business unit or region with P&L accountability exceeding $0.5B.

• Expertise in sales, marketing, pricing strategies, and managing complex, multi-country, multi-channel models.

• Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management experience.

• Ability to drive innovation, digital transformation, and business expansion.

• Willingness to travel extensively (>60%).
