Geotechnical Engineer

Description:

We are seeking someone with either previous experience or a particular interest in foundation engineering. Although not essential, we would expect you to be qualified to at least HND level in building/civil engineering and to be capable of undertaking pile design. You must be flexible in your approach and capable of multi-tasking to respond to our expanding Clients’ ever increasing demands.

This is a full-time hybrid role. You will be responsible for reviewing site investigations, analysing soil samples, and designing pile foundations.

You will work closely with the design and construction team to ensure the proper implementation of ground engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Site Investigation and Soil analysis skills
• Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology knowledge
• Pile / Foundation Design expertise
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• HNC or Degree Level in Civil Engineering or related field.
