Description:

The Global Preparers Forum (GPF), an independent consultative group of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), is seeking new members for 2026. GPF members provide the IASB with regular views from the international community of financial statement preparers, contributing to the development of high-quality IFRS Accounting Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer advice to the IASB on practical implications of proposals for financial statement preparers.

• Provide input into concepts and proposals being developed by the IASB.

• Maintain liaison with local preparer organizations, national standard-setters, and other relevant bodies.

• Attend and contribute to GPF meetings (hybrid format; may require occasional in-person attendance in London).

• Participate actively in discussions and help ensure practical application of IFRS Accounting Standards.

About You:

• Experienced and active in IFRS accounting and reporting.

• Professionally competent and recognized in financial reporting.

• Able to participate in English technical discussions.

• Linked with local IFRS accounting groups.

• Willing and able to cover personal travel expenses for meetings.

Membership Details:

• Minimum participation: 2 years; first term: up to 5 years.

• Membership may be renewed for a second term, maximum total period: 10 years.

• GPF meets three times a year, including a joint meeting with the Capital Markets Advisory Committee (CMAC).

• Meetings are public and hybrid, allowing online or in-person participation.
