Graduate Quantity Surveyor

JN Bentley is offering the opportunity for graduates in the Cambridgeshire/East Anglia area, sometimes being required to work from the Peterborough office. You will gain valuable experience and develop a number of key skills that will help you to pursue a career in the civil engineering industry, working predominantly within clean/wastewater.

As Graduate Quantity Surveyor at JN Bentley you will:

• Manage all costs relating to projects
• Work closely with sub-contractors, while ensuring that the needs of a project are met
• Effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, while minimising costs to maximise the value received
• Agree and report final accounts on both the financial and contractual status of schemes
• Assist with maintaining our world class safety culture – through the production of critical designs, health and safety documentation, O&M manuals and commissioning plans

Candidate Specification

• A degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
• We'll accept applications from students studying for a degree in other related subject
• We are keen to review applications from individuals that are organised, excellent with numbers and have keen interest for the inner workings of civil engineering and construction projects
