Graduate Transport Planner

 

Description:

Join Pegasus Group’s Transport team in Birmingham as a Graduate Transport Planner and kick-start your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects and clients, giving you the chance to develop valuable skills in transport planning through hands-on experience and structured training.

You will support all stages of project work including:

  • Transport assessments and travel plans

  • Junction modelling

  • Swept path analysis

  • AutoCAD design

You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from site identification and appraisal, through planning and design, to construction completion. This will provide you with broad exposure across multiple sectors, helping you develop a well-rounded skill set.


Key Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Transport Planning or related subjects such as Geography, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or Built Environment.

  • Logical and analytical thinking abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to use your own initiative and think creatively.

  • Previous work experience in Transport Planning or Planning is beneficial but not mandatory.

  • Due to government legislation, the employer cannot support work-sponsored visas.
