Group It Support Technician

Description:

As Group IT Support Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers, client devices and security systems, including investigating, diagnosing and resolving network, server, client devices and software problems, software patching, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.

Key Accountabilities

🔧 Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems

🛠️ Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues

💻 Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components

🗄️ Installing, configuring and maintaining Servers

🛡️ Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software

🤝 Supporting users whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices

📄 Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly

🧪 Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation

☁️ High level of Microsoft 365 experience and administration

💾 Backup Management, configuration and monitoring

📁 To undertake project work as assigned by the Group IT Manager

🌐 Liaise with 3rd party support
