St Austell Brewery is seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at The Godolphin, a well-loved pub with stunning views of St Michael’s Mount. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the food offering, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the kitchen and back-of-house team, ensuring seamless daily operations.

• Oversee and deliver a consistent, high-quality food offering that aligns with brand standards.

• Monitor budgets, sales targets, and food costs to meet financial objectives.

• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

• Support the team with training, development, and career growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with management to implement innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a passion for culinary excellence.

• Ability to manage costs, control stock, and deliver results under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills and a hands-on leadership style.

• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic hospitality environment.
