Head Of Employee Experience

Description:

The Head of Employee Experience will play a pivotal role in delivering the University of Warwick’s People Strategy, aiming to attract, develop, retain, and support staff in a diverse and inclusive environment. This role leads the development and delivery of University-wide employee experience initiatives, frameworks to enhance staff engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing, fostering a workplace where all staff feel a strong sense of belonging and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of University-wide employee experience initiatives aligned with the Warwick People Strategy.

• Develop frameworks and programs that enhance engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing.

• Leverage insights and analytics for strategic workforce planning and inform decision-making.

• Collaborate with other Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and broader People Function to nurture a positive employee experience.

• Drive people change initiatives, organizational design, and development projects to enhance effectiveness.

Requirements / About You:

• Proven experience leading employee experience, engagement, or cultural transformation programs in large, complex organizations.

• Strong understanding of links between employee experience, organizational design, and strategic workforce planning.

• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience using people analytics, engagement metrics, and qualitative insight to drive improvement and strategy.

About the Department:
The People Strategy and Insights Centre of Excellence (CoE) shapes the University’s overall People Strategy and Culture, working closely with leadership to design and develop initiatives. It uses insights and analytics for workforce planning, supports people change programs, and fosters a positive employee experience.
