Description:

Pivotal Partners is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team and take ownership of financial operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Manager will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and play a critical role in strategic decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to shape the financial backbone of a fast-growing recruitment company that specializes in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and board packs for leadership and investor meetings.

• Lead the annual budgeting process, focusing on headcount planning and recruitment forecasting.

• Provide financial insights to senior leadership to support business growth.

• Improve internal finance processes, leveraging technology and automation.

• Champion CRM data accuracy and support system improvements for forecasting and reporting.

• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as needed.

• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified ACCA.

• Proven experience in the recruitment industry in a similar finance or commercial role.

• Strong command of budgeting and forecasting, particularly in headcount modelling.

• Comfortable working with CRM systems (Bullhorn, Salesforce, Vincere, etc.).

• Proactive communicator with a process-driven mindset.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.

• Clear progression pathway to Head of Finance or CFO role.
