Description:

We're looking for an experienced and accomplished Head of HR (part-time and full time applicants welcome) to join DASH Water during an exciting stage of business growth. The role is unique opportunity to become our first HR hire, taking on an exciting leadership position.

 

You will play a pivotal role in developing, influencing, and executing our HR strategy, reporting directly to our Co-Founder and collaborating closely with our Head of Culture.

 

The ideal candidate will have the experience and enthusiasm to seamlessly balance strategic thinking with the day-to-day execution of HR responsibilities. Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to understand business growth ambitions, strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of building relationships and influence across all levels of the business.

 

We are specifically looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with a mission-led, people first business fostering diversity and inclusion.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and initiatives, aligning them with the organisation's overarching business goals.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any team HR queries.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with our values to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Sensitively handle any employee relation challenges including resolving grievances, concerns and addressing various demands
  • Review, develop and maintain comprehensive HR policies and initiatives, aligning with our DASH goals and industry best practice.
  • Partner with the Head of Culture to create an enviable and collaborative environment at WONKY HQ prioritising, engagement, wellbeing and retention.
  • Manage and improve performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Build and implement a competitive L&D strategy to support the team's career development, continued growth and best in class eNPS.
  • Manage and continually review our employee benefits and rewards.
  • Maintain up to date team records.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of UK employment law, ensuring all HR practices are compliant.

 

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR management.
  • A minimum CIPD Level 5 - 7 qualification or equivalent is essential.
  • Experienced with payroll and benefits.
  • A robust results-driven approach, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in managing HR metrics, with a thorough understanding of HR systems and databases.
  • Exceptional negotiation, active listening, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
  • Prior experience working at a fast-paced growth business
  • Knowledge of training and development processes.
