CityFibre, the UK’s largest fibre-only network and a leading wholesale challenger, is looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to drive innovation, system reliability, and DevSecOps best practices. This is an opportunity to lead platform engineering strategy while working with cutting-edge cloud technologies and CI/CD pipelines in an evolving digital infrastructure landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the platform engineering strategy to enhance scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead CI/CD, DevSecOps, SRE, and cloud-native technology adoption.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
- Oversee incident response and observability processes for enhanced system reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams and product managers to ensure high-quality software deployment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, and Cloud Infrastructure leadership.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
- Strong AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native solutions knowledge.
- Deep understanding of SRE principles and large-scale system optimization.
- Proven leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
