TEKEVER is at the forefront of Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS). Delivering advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions to customers worldwide. As our international footprint continues to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic Health & Safety Coordinator based at our Bath office.
The Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for safe working practices, implementing safety programs and ensuring compliance with all aspects of health & safety, promoting our safety culture at our UK sites.
What Will Be Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain health & safety programs
- Conduct/review risk assessments with the relevant personnel, ensuring they are up to date
- Liaise with the UK H&S Manager to develop, implement and monitor health & safety policies and procedures
- Deliver site inductions and training to promote safety culture at UK sites
- Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions in conjunction with the UK H&S Manager
- Ensure all COSHH risk assessments are completed and up to date and that COSHH substances are stored correctly
- Conduct H&S visits to sites in UK, escalating any potential issues to the UK H&S Manager
- Fire Warden & First Aid – assign and guide employees
- Provide regular safety reports to senior Leadership (such as accidents/incident/near misses)
- Coordinate occupational health appointments when required
- Ensure all equipment is checked before use and serviced at required intervals
- Arrange legionella, air and noise assessments and reports
Profile And Requirements
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Coordinator or similar
- Proactive and committed to fostering a safe, collaborative working environment
- In-depth knowledge of COSHH and other relevant health & safety regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Google
- NEBOSH/IOSH qualification/membership
- +5 years proven experience in Health & Safety in a similar role in manufacturing/Engineering/Aerospace
