Healthcare Assistant

Description:

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant looking for a role where your care can make a meaningful difference every day? Join our community team in Birmingham and Solihull and help provide personalised, dignified end-of-life care to people in the comfort of their own homes.

In this rewarding role, you will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping people feel safe, comfortable and respected at a highly important time in their lives. You will support individual care plans by assisting with personal care, skin integrity, nutrition and hydration, mobility, rest and sleep, and maintaining a clean and safe care environment.

You will also play an important part in observing and responding to changes in a person’s condition, supporting symptom management within the agreed care plan, and escalating any concerns promptly to registered healthcare professionals. Just as importantly, you will offer calm, sensitive and professional communication to patients and those important to them, helping to preserve dignity, choice and wellbeing.

If you are kind, caring and passionate about person-centred care, this is an opportunity to use your experience to support people and families when it matters most. We would love to hear from you.
