Veterinary Imaging Specialist

 

Description:

Linnaeus, a leading name in veterinary healthcare, is seeking a Veterinary Imaging Specialist to join its world-class multidisciplinary team at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service. This opportunity is open for a 6-month paternity fixed-term contract (March–August 2026), with the possibility of part-time work or conversion to a permanent contract based on mutual agreement.

The role involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support a range of specialist disciplines including medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, dentistry, and Emergency & Critical Care (ECC).


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert diagnostic imaging services across multiple veterinary disciplines.

  • Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Contribute to the training, mentoring, and professional development of team members.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of clinical practice.

  • Engage in joint learning and collaborative case discussions to enhance the imaging service.


Requirements

  • ECVDI or ACVR boarded or board-eligible Diagnostic Imager.

  • Strong collaborative approach with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of veterinary care.
