Description:
Westmoreland Supported Housing Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Manager to oversee supported housing schemes for vulnerable adults living with mental health conditions and physical disabilities. This full-time remote role, with regional travel across the South of England, is a key leadership position within the organization and offers the opportunity to drive impactful change and promote high-quality, person-centred housing support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of five Housing Officers working across multiple supported housing schemes.
Oversee tenancy management, ensure safeguarding protocols are upheld, and maintain high standards in housing and property compliance.
Act as the primary liaison with care providers, local authority partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery.
Promote trauma-informed and person-centred approaches to support tenants in maintaining stable tenancies and achieving better outcomes.
Lead on service quality, performance improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance monitoring.
Candidate Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in managing teams within social or supported housing settings.
In-depth understanding of UK housing legislation, tenancy law, and safeguarding responsibilities.
Strong skills in managing complex tenant cases, service improvements, and working collaboratively with external agencies.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally as required.
