Hr Advisor

 

Description:

My client, a well established and friendly company based in Grays, is looking for a HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working alongside the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Providing advice and guidance to managers with employee issues and employee relations, escalating any complex ER cases to HR Manager
  • Providing assistance and guidance to departmental managers and supervisors on conducting fact find investigations, formal disciplinary, performance management and grievance meetings
  • Ensuring Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with employment legislation and company requirements
  • Leading on recruitment campaigns for all roles, reviewing job descriptions, creating compelling, diverse and robust job adverts, posting adverts online, monitoring applications and organising interviews
  • Issuing offer letters, completing pre-employment checks and provide support to hiring managers with recruitment and on boarding.
  • Maintaining and updating electronic HR information databases, document workflows and keeping trackers and records up to date
  • Liaising with payroll regarding any contractual variations within the set deadlines, escalating issues to the HR Manager where necessary as well as assisting where required with preparing and checking of employee payroll data.
  • Preparing HR related letters and documents
  • Providing management information (e.g. sickness absence by individual, team, department, function etc)
  • Managing leavers and exit processes
  • Advising on company benefits packages
  • Assisting with adhoc project work
  • Producing appropriate invite and outcome letters for performance reviews, welfare reviews, investigations, disciplinary and other employee related meetings where required
  • Undertaking general HR administration within the department including new starters, leavers and changes to employee information and contracts as required
  • Maintaining employee filing both electronically and hard copy systems as required and in accordance to GDPR
  • Assisting with audits of HR system and processes to ensure information is up-to-date
