Description:
In this truly generalist HR Advisor position based in Leeds, the successful candidate will be expected to;
- Proactively manage employee relations cases ranging from formal grievance to disciplinary investigations whilst ensuring correct and fair processes are followed at all times throughout the investigations
- Provide coaching to Managers and Team Leaders on performance improvement plans and resolving issues before escalation
- Manage performance review cycle for business units, ensuring all communications and documentation are managed on time and effectively
- Provide accurate advice to employees on queries relating to policies, procedures, terms and conditions of employment such as flexible working requests, and employee benefits
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for client areas and provide dialogue to support where necessary
- Be the HR presence and first point of contact for employees, Team Leaders and Managers in the Leeds office
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess;
- Demonstrable HR experience, including exposure to a wide range of ER issues
- Experience of advising line managers on ER issues
- CIPD qualification would be preferable
- Strong understanding of UK employment law legislation
- Experience of coaching, influencing and building strong working relationships with business leaders
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage own workload efficiently
