Quest Search & Selection is recruiting a HR Business Partner who will be working closely with key stakeholders and report directly to the People Director.
This role will support the Head Office teams, offering expertise across generalist HR functions including Employee Relations & Organisational Development. You'll play a key role in both reactive and long-term strategic HR initiatives.
The business is an omnichannel business renowned for collaborating with some of the UK and internationally recognised home, outdoor, and fashion brands, both branded and private label.
Key Responsibilities of this HR Business Partner position -
- Develop and implement a tailored People Plan for the key business area, ensuring actions align with and support the company’s overall strategies.
- Focus on organisational design, ensuring roles and structures are aligned with business needs.
- Working with Trade Unions when needed & creating a collaborative approach with 3rd parties
- Drive talent attraction, retention, and development to support succession planning.
- Partner with managers to proactively address employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with various People teams to support transformational change initiatives.
- Lead engagement improvement efforts to positively impact people KPIs and the overall work environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering coaching and guidance to business partners.
- Build and implement best-practice people frameworks, processes, and tools to enhance performance and drive business results.
What We’re Looking For in this HR Business Partner position:
- 3-5 years + of experience in HR or People roles such as Advisor, Manager, or Business Partner, ideally within Retail, FMCG, Warehouse, or 3PL environments.
- Strong experience supporting Warehouse, Distribution, or Logistics teams.
- In-depth understanding of TUPE and organisational design principles.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive results.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing business outcomes.
