Description:
This is a newly created, hands-on generalist HR role, ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the operation and making a visible impact. Working closely with senior leaders and line managers, you will lead the day-to-day HR agenda while also shaping and delivering key people initiatives.
The main responsibilities:
- Providing pragmatic, hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Leading and supporting performance management processes, including coaching managers on effective people management.
- Developing and implementing skills development and career pathways across the business.
- Managing and promoting apprenticeship programmes and early careers initiatives.
- Supporting learning and development activity aligned to operational and future skills needs.
- Driving employer brand initiatives to attract, engage and retain talent.
- Advising on employee relations matters, policies and HR best practice.
- Ensuring HR processes are compliant, practical and fit for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Proven HR experience within manufacturing or similar operational environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in performance management and employee development.
- A practical, people-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Hands-on practice knowledge of NI legislation.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
