Human Resources Advisor

 

Description:

  • Lead new starter inductions and maintain accurate HR and TA system records
  • Oversee general HR administration including time & attendance, holidays, contract changes, and absence management
  • Coordinate training courses in line with the training plan, supporting apprenticeship recruitment and development
  • Collate and report on HR metrics and support wider HR initiatives and projects
  • Provide employee relations support, including investigations, absence reviews, and engagement activities
  • Coach and support line managers to build capability and confidence in managing their teams
  • Partner with the site leadership team to deliver HR support and general administration

 

HR Advisor

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Part CIPD Level 5 qualified, with 4–5 years relevant HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong employee relations experience, with confidence in handling complex cases
  • Proven coaching skills to develop and support line managers
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to produce reports, metrics, and data insights
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working independently or as part of a close-knit team
