LT Harper – Cyber Security Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in its industry to find an Information Security Analyst with a strong technical and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) background. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of ISO 27001 compliance, lead initiatives to strengthen security posture, and make a tangible impact within a high-performing organization.

The ideal candidate will have both technical experience and compliance knowledge, bridging the gap between IT and security governance. This role is perfect for someone with an IT support or technical background who has transitioned into information security and compliance, and is ready to take responsibility for shaping and maintaining key security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the company’s ISO 27001 compliance framework, ensuring policies, procedures, and controls are up-to-date and effective.

• Assess, refine, and implement security controls to strengthen organizational resilience.

• Utilize and manage Microsoft Purview, Office 365 DLP, and Microsoft security tools to maintain compliance and data security.

• Drive information security initiatives, embedding risk management and compliance across departments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security objectives with business goals.

• Conduct risk assessments and manage remediation plans to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Monitor and report on security risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

• Act as the primary point of contact for security audits and compliance reviews.

• Foster a culture of security awareness through training and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in Information Security, GRC, or Risk & Compliance roles.

• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Purview, Office 365 DLP, and security stack.

• Deep familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and risk management frameworks.

• Excellent understanding of security policies, controls, and governance processes.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.

• Proactive, driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must be a UK resident (no sponsorship available).
