Interim Financial Controller

Description:

As a Financial Controller for a key business unit, you will oversee the company's products and associated risks. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be pivotal in managing various product offerings and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Desired attributes / skills

• Experience in FinTech/ Payment Services or financial services ideal, particularly in technology-driven environments.
• Ownership of the month end processes for reporting P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
• Ensuring strong control of the new APPF fraud legislation, including accurate representation of losses from fraudulent transactions in the P&L.
• Building robust financial control processes and strengthening internal controls.
• Working closely with the FP&A team to support with analysis.
• Proficient in credit products and risk provisioning.
• Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience dealing with statutory audits.
