Description:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the face of technology for our EMEA teams, ensuring every Pure Storage employee has the tools to innovate from day one. You will champion the "Hire-to-Retire" lifecycle, managing seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences while maintaining a high-performing hardware ecosystem across the UK and beyond. Collaborating closely with global IT functions and regional vendors, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and human productivity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
- Own the Lifecycle Experience: Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for the UK and EMEA regions, ensuring new hires are provisioned with hardware and access to hit the ground running on their first day.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Resolve Tier 1 hardware and software incidents across Mac OS X and Windows environments within established SLAs to minimize downtime for our global workforce.
- Optimize Regional Logistics: Coordinate the procurement, inventory management, and shipment of IT assets across multiple countries (including Ireland, South Africa, and the UAE), ensuring local offices are fully equipped and scalable.
- Modernize Support Workflows: Partner with global teams to identify automation opportunities in account provisioning and system management, moving from manual tasks to scalable, efficient IT services.
- Champion Workplace Technology: Provide on-site and remote support for essential collaboration tools, including Zoom Rooms, A/V hardware, and telecommunications, to maintain a connected and professional office environment.
What You Bring
- Technical Troubleshooting Mastery: Advanced proficiency in supporting Mac OS X, Windows 11, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android), coupled with experience managing cloud-based enterprise solutions like Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack.
- Service Management Expertise: A strong background in IT Helpdesk operations using ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow) and a deep understanding of hardware asset management, from procurement to secure decommissioning.
- Infrastructure & Security Knowledge: Practical experience with Active Directory, endpoint security management (Crowdstrike/Zscaler), and MDM solutions such as JAMF or Airwatch to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Agile Problem Solving: The ability to independently manage multiple shifting priorities, resolve escalations with professionalism, and communicate technical updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Office Presence: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Staines/London office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
