Description:
We are recruiting a Junior Service Manager Records Management to support the ongoing development and delivery of the Records Management Code of Practice for Health and Social Care. The role will:
- Work collaboratively with the Scottish Government, COSLA, NHS Boards, Local Authorities, regulators, third party organisations, and wider stakeholder networks.
- Coordinate a robust change management process.
- Draft clear and comprehensive documentation.
- Maintain the designated digital platform for the Records Management Code of Practice, ensuring accessibility, version control, and compliance with digital and data standards.
- Play a key role in NHS Scotland’s implementation and delivery of Microsoft 365 products from a records management perspective.
- Provide service support activity to the ongoing improvements and delivery of M365 products
- Provide change and project management support to NHS Scotland’s Records Management Forum
The Candidate

- Proven experience in implementing services or processes in line with service/change/project management methodology, ideally within health and social care or related sectors.
- Ability to draft clear and comprehensive guidance documentation, ensuring accessibility and compliance with standards.
- Advanced ICT skills, with proficiency in a wide range of ICT applications and tools.
- Able to engage confidently with stakeholders to capture feedback and implement agreed changes, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build positive, collaborative working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings and workshops, including preparation of materials and the drafting of accurate outputs.
- Capable of working independently with a high degree of autonomy, effectively organising and prioritising workloads to meet demanding deadlines.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, care and compassion in all interactions, utilising tact and persuasion skills when required.
- Experience and understanding of records management / information governance practices and knowledge of the health and social care sector, would be advantageous.
