Lab Analyst

Description:

With ambitious plans for growth they currently have a number of new positions within the business including the role of a Lab Analyst responsible for delivering a fully compliant laboratory service for their in-house team and external clients within the lab.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and should have a good knowledge of all aspects of the bulk lab from sample chain of custody through to QC checking of reports prior to issue. A good knowledge of COSHH and handling and storage of cargille liquids is also required.

Key Responsibilities Include
 

• Delivering accurate analytical reports
• Ensuring the laboratory is compliant with all UKAS requirements and other quality standards
• Work collaboratively with other leaders across the business to ensure a smooth and integrated delivery of reports.
• Reporting to the Quality Manager with any non-conforming work arising from day-to-day analysis and QC checks.
• Managing resources and workload to ensure analytical targets are met.
   

Essential Qualifications
 

• P401 with at least 1 year experience of working within the laboratory environment
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of IT systems
