Bradford Bulls RLFC is actively seeking a passionate and driven Women’s Rugby League Head Coach to lead its elite-level women’s team. This on-site, Bradford-based position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of female rugby league talent and continuing the legacy of one of the sport’s most respected clubs.

As Head Coach, you will be responsible for setting a clear vision for team development, designing and implementing training programs, overseeing player progression, and creating a performance-focused yet supportive environment for athletes. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a deep understanding of rugby league, a strong tactical mind, and the ability to motivate and inspire players at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all coaching aspects for the women’s team including training, match-day management, and player development.

  • Develop and execute a strategic coaching plan in alignment with club objectives.

  • Foster a culture of discipline, inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Conduct regular performance analysis, reviews, and feedback sessions with players and coaching staff.

  • Work closely with the club’s wider performance team including physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and analysts.

  • Support recruitment and talent identification strategies.

  • Represent the team and club positively in public engagements, media interactions, and community initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in coaching within rugby league or a comparable high-performance sporting environment.

  • Recognised coaching qualifications (RFL Level 2 minimum preferred).

  • Strong understanding of game strategy, player conditioning, and tactical analysis.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Commitment to player welfare, equality, and the growth of women’s sport.

  • Ability to manage schedules, game preparations, and administrative tasks effectively.

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to mentoring and developing athletes.

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends, including travel for matches.
