Calibre8 Recruitment Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity to start a career with a growing medical device repair company specializing in ultrasound probe repair and maintenance. The selected trainee will undergo comprehensive, hands-on training designed to develop expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining ultrasound probes in accordance with ISO 13485 standards and other relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training & Skill Development:

  • Participate in structured, hands-on training programs covering ultrasound probe repair techniques.

  • Work closely under the mentorship of senior technicians and the Workshop Manager.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of repair protocols, diagnostic methods, and industry best practices.

• Technical Assistance:

  • Assist in the troubleshooting and basic repair of ultrasound probes.

  • Support inspections, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure equipment functionality and safety.

  • Learn to interpret and follow detailed technical documentation and repair guidelines.

• Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Adhere to ISO 13485 and other applicable quality and safety standards.

  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all repairs and quality control activities.

  • Follow established safety procedures within the workshop environment.

• Workshop Collaboration & Efficiency:

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and senior technicians.

  • Ensure a clean, well-organized, and safe workspace.

  • Assist in inventory management and tool maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• A strong desire and motivation to learn technical skills in medical device repair.

• A basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, or related fields is advantageous.

• Excellent attention to detail, logical thinking, and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Educational background in electronics, biomedical engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
