Description:
We have partnered with a PE-backed market leader in the distribution industry. They're looking for a seasoned Analytics professional to come in and demonstrate the art of the possible in regards to Analytical capability. This role will report into the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll work very closely with them and other divisional heads to really drive Data across the group.
This position is greenfield in nature, with the opportunity to implement your own flare on the way Data is used across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Data Analytics throughout the group
- Work with the CCO to clearly define Data Strategy going forward
- Deliver insights that can be used to improve the effectiveness of business activities through high quality and timely analyses of available data
- Work closely and iteratively with key stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs and are delivered in a timely manner
- Visualise and present meaningful and actionable data-driven insights to stakeholders in PowerBI
Experience & Skills:
- Strong experience of Data Visualisation in Power BI or similar tools
- Confidence with fundamental concepts of relational databases
- A commercial background and mindset
- The ability to showcase to senior stakeholders how Data can improve commercial performance
- A business mindset coupled with strong data analysis skills. The ability to tell the story from data in language that is relevant to business stakeholders
- Strong curiosity and inquisitiveness concerning data analytics and how it is used to improve business performance.
- Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach - keen to work directly with business stakeholders
