This role allows candidates to work with a talented multidisciplinary team of academic and systems engineers, engaging with industry partners across sectors including aerospace, automotive, electronics, and construction. The position focuses on manufacturing automation, digital twins, robotics, and applied AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engineering tools and methods for manufacturing automation.

• Collaborate with control, mechanical, electronic, and software engineers on industry-ready solutions.

• Contribute to applied AI and robotics projects within the department.

• Engage with a wide range of industry partners to develop innovative solutions.

Requirements / About You:

• Extensive expertise in industrial automation and manufacturing systems.

• Proficiency in software development environments and lifecycle engineering tools/methods.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

• Ability to contribute to industry-facing engineering projects.
