Description:
Derby College Group (DCG) is seeking an exceptional Learning Support Manager to lead its Learning Support Team, ensuring high-quality, inclusive support services for students with diverse learning needs. The role involves overseeing Learning Support Team Leaders and EHCP Coordinators, optimising resources, and supporting students—particularly those with EHCPs or High Needs Funding. The role also includes deputising for the Head of SEND and Learning Support.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Learning Support Team across all college sites.
Ensure effective support for students with diverse learning needs.
Oversee EHCP and High Needs Funding processes and coordination.
Deputise for the Head of SEND and Learning Support as needed.
Promote a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing learning environment.
Person Specification:
Strong, emotionally intelligent leadership.
Proven SEND and Learning Support expertise.
Experience in team management and development.
Teaching and SEND-specific qualifications.
Management, leadership, or coaching qualifications.
