Description:

Working in the OMJ Global Energy Markets team, you will be responsible for managing energy market news on a daily basis ensuring that our clients are fully informed as to what is moving oil prices throughout the trading day.

Key tasks include:

• Monitoring global energy markets news in real time and ensuring clients are fully informed of key developments
• Ensuring relevant news is distributed to client sectors
• Management and development of company publications
• News and data visualisation
• Market analysis and creating news content

The successful applicant should have:

• 2:1 degree or above in business, finance, journalism, English, economics, PPE, history or a related discipline OR graduating Summer 2026
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team structure.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a commercial environment
• Excellent numeracy and IT literacy
• Attention to detail
• High self motivation and the ability to organise and manage your time
• An interest in financial markets
