Marketing Executive Apprentice

M&G is looking for a Marketing Executive Apprentice to join their Marketing and Insight Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a positive attitude and a passion for marketing. As an apprentice, you'll assist in the production and maintenance of marketing materials, support internal marketing projects, and contribute to the delivery of the UK Channel marketing plan.

The role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, working on digital assets, and ensuring all marketing activities align with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. You’ll also develop your skills through the Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Marketing Managers with producing and maintaining marketing collateral

• Support internal marketing projects and deliver the UK Channel marketing plan

• Create new marketing communication tools, including digital assets like brochures, infographics, and podcasts

• Collaborate with UK Marketing colleagues, central marketing teams, and other stakeholders

• Attend meetings and document minutes and actions

• Ensure marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements

• Regular reporting against performance indicators and budget

Requirements:

• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders

• Strong customer service awareness with good empathy and listening skills

• Efficient, proactive, and structured approach to work

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Moderate understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently

• A logical and analytical approach, with a drive to learn

Minimum Requirements:

• Available to start in September 2025

• Must not be enrolled in another further education program at the beginning of the apprenticeship

• UK citizenship or proof of the right to work in the UK

• Must be living in Scotland

• Pass in Five National 5s, including English and Maths

• Minimum Grade C in Two Highers or equivalent

Training Provided:

• Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship

• Blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, face-to-face inductions, and masterclasses

Future Prospects:

• Fixed-term contract for 18 - 23 months, with potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

• Career progression applicable to the specific role or department.
