Description:

Collective Design, an award-winning interior design consultancy specialising in the F&B and hospitality sector, is seeking both a Midweight and a Junior Interior Designer to join their creative and dynamic studio in Newcastle. The company is known for delivering innovative, high-end concepts from initial idea through to project completion, collaborating with some of the UK’s most exciting hospitality brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in concept development for unique hospitality interiors.

  • Create mood boards, sample boards, and presentation materials.

  • Develop technical drawings including joinery details and elevations using AutoCAD.

  • Source FF&E to match project requirements, vision, and budget.

  • Manage FF&E specifications and procurement processes.

  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Support on-site coordination and monitor project progress.

  • Stay updated on design trends, materials, and UK Building Regulations.

  • Prepare and format planning applications for submission (training provided).

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

  • Passion for hospitality and F&B interiors.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury design work (hospitality sector preferred).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and hand sketching.

  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.

  • Right to work in the UK.
