Network Engineer

Description:

Harvey Nash has partnered exclusively with a leading business undergoing an exciting network transition. We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer on a 6-month contract to support the transition and onboard new networking hardware.

This role offers remote working with only occasional travel required to the Leeds or Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the transition of networking infrastructure and onboarding of new networking hardware.
• Manage Cisco networking and Cisco network management solutions.
• Implement Palo Alto firewalls, Azure Vnets, Cloud networking, load balancing, WAN, and SD-WAN.
• Work with OSPF, BGP, IS-IS protocols for network routing and implementation.

Requirements:

• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking and network management.
• Expertise in firewalls (Palo Alto) and cloud networking (Azure Vnets, SD-WAN, load balancing, WAN).
• Applicants must have a UK Passport (mandatory).

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension).
• Rate: £350-500 per day (Inside IR35).
• Work Location: Remote, with rare office visits to Leeds or Manchester.
