Office Business Analyst

Description:

This role is a highly analytical middle-office Business Analyst position within a treasury function for a large trading firm in London. The successful candidate will support the implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS) and enhance reporting capabilities for FX, interest rate, liquidity, margining, and collateral data. The position focuses on tracing data across systems, understanding data lineage, and translating proof-of-concepts (POCs) into production-ready reporting solutions using Power BI, Alteryx, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with treasury and finance teams to enhance reporting capabilities.

• Trace and source data across complex systems, mapping data lineage and dependencies.

• Translate proof-of-concepts into robust, production-ready reporting solutions.

• Document business processes, define requirements, and maintain backlogs for IT delivery.

• Support Treasury Management System implementation.

• Bridge communication between technical treasury users and IT delivery teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.

Requirements / Skills:

• Strong analytical background with understanding of FX, interest rates, liquidity, margining, and collateral from a finance/accounting perspective.

• Experience with treasury, finance, or tax functions and enterprise data systems.

• Proficient in Power BI, with knowledge of Alteryx and Python.

• Skilled at mapping data lineage across treasury, finance, and reporting systems.

• Strong business analysis capabilities and experience working closely with IT teams.
