Orchestra Manager

The SNJO is looking for an enthusiastic Orchestra Manager to provide comprehensive day-to-day management and administrative support to the organisation, ensuring the efficient operation and development of both the SNJO and the Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra (TSYJO).

The role will suit an exceptionally organised and self-motivated individual with a passion for the Arts, in particular for Jazz. This is a wide-ranging role, and an outstanding opportunity for someone with the ambition to develop their career in management of an Arts Organisation. Your role will include bringing artistic plans and ideas to fruition, fundraising, planning, production and publicity, managing concerts and tours while ensuring the smooth running of the organisation. As a public face and advocate for the orchestras the role requires good communication skills to liaise with colleagues, venues and sponsors as well as welcoming our audiences - all to ensure the continued growth and success of the orchestras.
