Ot Security Consultant

Description:

We are looking to grow our team to support the development and delivery of operational technology security assessment and remediation projects.

You will have an active interest in Cyber Security and help our clients understand and manage cyber security risks relating to their industrial control and SCADA systems.

This role will place you at the heart of some of our most important customer projects, potentially involved in assessing client’s security capability, recommending solutions to enhance security competence, and increase their ability to recognise and deal with emerging threats and risks. You will assist with the selection, installation and configuration of security products in operational environments and help our clients use new technology in innovative ways.

You will have excellent analytical and communication skills and an inquisitive mind-set with a passion for learning and growth. You will receive structured training and development to build the skills you need to be an effective cyber security consultant.

The successful candidate must be eligible and willing to go through SC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
 

• Developing professional relationship with clients
• Working alongside other consultants in client engagements
• Delivering projects to clients as part of a team
• Advising clients on improving the security posture of their facilities
• Performing security assessments of industrial facilities including site visits and risk assessment
• Proposing security controls, including enhancing systems architecture and device configurations, to mitigate identified security risks
   

Your Experience
 

• Significant experience in industrial controls and automation cyber security
• Good interpersonal skills including ability to communicate and present findings
• Good writing skills and experience in writing operational or design documents
• Experience with operational technology devices and protocols
• Good knowledge of networking technologies and protocol
• Previous experience of performing risk assessments for industrial processes
   

Desirable Skills
 

• Experience with performing functional safety related activities
• Knowledge of relevant industrial standards and guidelines including IEC 62443, NIS-D, NIST SP800-82
• Experience with security tools such as Nozomi, Claroty, Radiflow etc.
• Security qualifications such as IEC 62443, GICSP, CISSP etc.
• Experience of working within any of nuclear, FMCG, oil & gas, power, water, rail, manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceutical or automotive is a plus
