Description:
To take responsibility for the equipment used and ensure all aspects of use (production and cleaning) are carried out to a high standard, in line with associated documentation and GMP procedures. To take responsibility for all components, bulk and finished product entering and exiting the packing department, in line with associated documentation and GMP procedures. Pack product to the highest quality standard and compliant to the set GMP guidelines and procedures. To ensure all activities undertaken are within the set Health and Safety guidelines.
So, what will you be doing?
This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Pack product to the highest quality standard, compliant to regulatory dossier and in accordance with the current GMP guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Packing batch documents and comply with their individual responsibilities to GMP.
- Attend and comply with any in house training or on the job training.
- To ensure the efficient and safe use of machinery and equipment.
- To keep strictly to Packing methods as laid down in the documentation and raise any issues or errors to the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager.
- To ensure all equipment is clean and maintained in good working order and where deficiencies are found informing the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager.
- Achieve the highest standards of housekeeping, Cleanliness and Personal Hygiene within the department.
- To notify the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager, as a matter of urgency, if there has been any serious failure of safety or GMP which could affect staff safety or product quality.
- Any other reasonable request made by a senior member of staff (providing they are suitably trained.
