Physical Design Manager

Description:

They are looking for a Physical Design Manager to take the reigns of the company’s backend design practice and manage the delivery of cross-disciplinary projects. The Physical Design Manager will build and manage a growing team of digital backend designers, as well as DFT and analog engineers. This person will also establish the Backend “eco system” – partners, suppliers (FABs, EDA vendors), etc. This role will be a mix of people-management, leading pre-sales activities and some hands-on work.

The right candidate will be an energetic Physical Design expert looking to grow in a Managerial role. Requirements include:

• Expertise in Digital Backend / Physical Design, with an in-depth understanding of the RTL-GDSII flow
• Strong technical leadership ability
• Capable of effectively managing project delivery, in terms of quality, cost and schedule
• An excellent communicator in English
