Description:
Allianz UK is seeking a Commercial Motor Portfolio Manager to join their Commercial Motor Team, reporting to the Head of Motor. This role is pivotal in managing one of Allianz UK’s largest lines of business, providing the opportunity to shape portfolio monitoring, segmentation, and pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of growth and profitability aligned with portfolio objectives.
Drive product development, underwriter development, and thought leadership within the team.
Develop and apply risk management techniques and maintain underwriting standards.
Monitor portfolio performance, setting targets, objectives, and development plans for profitable growth.
Collaborate across Allianz’s Mid-Market and e-traded Commercial Motor portfolios using advanced analytical tools and data insights.
Candidate Requirements:
Outstanding technical underwriting ability in Commercial Motor.
In-depth knowledge of the Commercial Motor market.
Proven account management and leadership skills.
Strong negotiating, influencing, presentation, numerical, and analytical abilities.
Experience underwriting motor fleet business and working within a general insurer environment with top/bottom line responsibility.
Professional qualifications such as ACII or equivalent preferred.
