Procurement Manager

Description:

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our enabling function procurement team in Watford.

You’ll:
 

• Implement of project procurement strategy
• Manage the full tender process to achieve best value procurement solutions
• Undertake procurement activity in accordance with both “Skanska operational procurement – The way of working” and our contractual requirements
• Manage project stakeholders to maintain and seek to improve upon procurement and construction programmes
• Support the implementation of ERP on the scheme.
   

We’re looking for:
 

• Experience of procurement and supply chain management
• Product knowledge of materials and plant and subcontracts
• Construction / Site based experience
• Working knowledge of Main Contract T& Cs including NEC
• Confidence to negotiate competitively and effectively.
• Competent in the use of 0365 software
• Awareness of digital procurement tools
• MCIPS or working towards
