As a Product Marketing Director at Workiva, you'll lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for one of our industry platforms — banking, insurance, or investments — across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact individual contributor role, ideal for a strategic builder who thrives in a dynamic, multi-country environment and is energized by the opportunity to shape vertical-specific offerings for EMEA markets, accelerate regional market momentum, and elevate Workiva’s industry presence.
Being a senior-level independent contributor, you’ll play a pivotal role within a high-performing, strategically aligned marketing organization, serving as the EMEA go-to expert for industry platform strategy.
You’ll collaborate closely with regional teams across Product, Sales, Partnerships, Sales Enablement, and Revenue Marketing to deliver differentiated solutions tailored to EMEA market dynamics. You will also lead vertical launches in-region, enabling seller success across EMEA markets, engaging global customers with EMEA operations, and presenting to executive stakeholders — all to ensure GTM execution is tightly aligned to both EMEA customer needs and enterprise priorities.
What You'll Do
- Create and execute GTM strategies for Workiva’s industry-specific platforms across the EMEA region, tailored to the unique regulatory, competitive, and market needs of sectors like banking, insurance, and investments to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth
- Lead industry platform launches within EMEA, defining regionally relevant sector-specific messaging and coordinating cross-functional alignment to maximize market impact across diverse EMEA markets
- Craft differentiated positioning and messaging based on EMEA industry dynamics, buyer personas, and competitive insights
- Consult with EMEA customers, alongside Product Management and regional Sales, to explore product and market opportunities within key industries, ensuring solutions reflect real-world regulatory and operational challenges across the region
- Own and influence pricing and packaging strategies for industry solutions in EMEA, aligning offers to regional customer value, market demand, and growth goals
- Drive regional thought leadership through blogs, webinars, white papers, and speaking engagements that elevate Workiva’s credibility and visibility across EMEA financial services markets
- Support and consult EMEA sellers directly, providing messaging, enablement tools, and strategic guidance to accelerate deal cycles across multiple countries
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and their teams across Product, Sales, Partnerships, Sales Enablement, and Field Readiness — both regionally and globally — to align strategy, shape EMEA GTM plans, and drive consistent execution across the business
- Influence and shape EMEA industry-focused offerings, using regional customer insights to inform global roadmap and solution development
- Measure and refine GTM performance across EMEA, using regional pipeline, revenue, and engagement data to improve messaging, content, and launch effectiveness
- Present to regional and executive leaders, providing regular insights and strategic recommendations that support platform expansion and revenue growth within EMEA
What You'll Need Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing or closely related roles that could include: product management, industry or corporate marketing, and sales
